ARW 43rd Anniversary
Dear Members,
On behalf of the Officer Commanding ARW and the ARWA Committee, I would like to extend this invitation to attend the 43rd ARW Anniversary scheduled for Thursday 16th March 2023. Guests wishing to attend this year’s reunion are asked to assemble at the SJC, Plunkett Bks at 1600hrs, followed by a wreath laying and some words from the DFTC army chaplain at 1615hrs.
Following the wreath laying ceremony, OC ARW will give a welcome address to the assembled serving and past members of the unit. The annual AGM of the ARWA will then take place at 1630hrs and is scheduled to last for 45 minutes.
Immediately after the AGM, serving and former members of the unit are invited to partake in some refreshments and a roast pig on a spit, with various salads and artisan breads.
The formal reunion will finish in the SJC at 2000hrs and members are asked to “lift and shift” to either Kildare or Newbridge for more pints and “tall tales”.
